SPAY/NEUTER ASSISTANCE

SBCHA assists residents in spaying and neutering their pets. For those who are low-income, elderly or disabled there is no charge if they qualify under the United Way guidelines. To get our spay/neuter assistance form click here.

Some spaying and neutering is done in conjunction with The Spay Station, a 30 foot mobile veterinary clinic owned and operated by the Wilson County Humane Association. To qualify for services one must demonstrate financial need by participating in any of the following programs: food stamps, public housing, disability, WIC, Families First, SSI, over 65 or Medicaid. Clients are asked to make a donation of whatever they can afford.

For those who do not qualify in this way referrals are made to the Beesley Humane Foundation, a low cost spay/neuter clinic in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Please visit http://www.beesleyhumane.org for more information.
