2008 SBCHA Calendar of Events

* May 4 thru 10 – National Be Kind to Animals Week - Come celebrate with us at Kroger parking lot from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be food, activities and more. All proceeds benefit SBCHA and BCAC.

* May 17 – Wine Tasting/Silent Auction
                   at the Blue Ribbon Circle on the Tennessee Walking Horse
                   National Celebration Grounds in Shelbyville from 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person
                   for persons over 21. They are available by calling 931-684-KIND or e-mailing 
                   sbcha@hotmail.com. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we rely heavily on its
                   support to help us pay our bills. We appreciate your support.

* June – American Humane Association’s Annual Adopt-A-Cat Month

* June or July - Janice Kohl and rescued puppy mill dog Baby will visit. There will also be
                          a Beans & Cornbread Supper along with Blue Grass music. Visit www.baby94.com

* September 27 – Celebration Pet Day from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bedford County Ag Center
                             on Midland Rd, Shelbyville

* October – American Humane Association’s Annual Adopt-A-Dog Month

* November – Festival of Trees

* December - Christmas Parade

* December – Holiday Tour of Homes
